John’s newsletter from Eastham Unit n°49

JOURNEY FROM DEATH ROW

John’s newsletter from Eastham Unit n°49

15th of March 2010

Dear all,

We are very lucky now that we can use Jpay to send our letters to John at a lesser cost than if we had to snail-mail them. However, John is not as lucky as we are and each letter he mails to France or other Europe countries costs him one dollar. John thus can’t answer us if we don’t help him by sending some money to him. He can’t buy extra-food, hygiene products, clothes, without our financial help. The slightest gift matters, because together we can make a real difference in John’s life.

How is John doing these days?

As far as I know John is rather fine. January and February were very cold but thanks to our financial help John had enough clothes to keep warm. And he likes winter much better than summer, because when it’s hot in the unit there is nothing he can do to struggle against the heat. He seems rather optimistic about this year 2010 and hopes a favourable ruling this year.

What’s new about his judicial procedure?

Absolutely no news whatsoever from the Federal Court. John really hopes that the federal court will finally rule in his favour this year, so that he can benefit from a new trial.

A new picture of John with his father and grand-mother!
