Dear all,

Some of you have asked us: how can we send money to John? You will find some answers in this newsletter, if you want to send money directly to his inmate account, so he can buy food and other stuff, or send money to his Justice Fund to pay for his attorney.

How is John doing these days?

According to John’s last letter, which was written in August, John feels rather isolated. He discovered that one of his US penfriends died a few months ago. Please support him, he needs to hear from you all!

What’s new about his judicial procedure?

Nothing new to share with you. Some of you wonder if such long delays in deciding on a case are normal. Don’t get surprised, appeals are always very long. Of course it’s difficult for John to keep waiting and waiting, because he hopes he will be granted his appeal and be freed. But there is nothing we can do to help in that matter.

How can you send money to John?

It depends on what you want to do with the money.

- You want to give money to the Justice Fund. If you live in France, you can send a cheque to the organization named Lutte Pour la Justice. You must write on the back of your cheque “For John Dewberry”. When there is enough money on John’s account, the treasurer lets me know (Céline) and I can give her a green light to make a transfer to the Justice Fund. If you live abroad, then you should contact Tina, who will explain to you how you can transfer omney on her account, then she makes an international transfer to the Justice Fund. In any case John knows when money arrives and will thank you.

- you want to send money on his commissary account. If you have a VISA/AMEX/other card and internet account, the simplest way is to use the website Jpay http://www.jpay.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fDefault.aspx. You create an account, and then you can wire a donation. John is immediately told that he received a donation, and from whom, so he can thank you quickly.
